Welcome to William Stewart House.

Here at William Stewart House life goes along nicely from year to year. We have had our usual repairs and maintenance jobs needing done to keep the House in as good order as we can. Our Residents continue to be in good health although this year we said goodbye to both Mr James Galloway and Miss Helen Wilson who moved on to residential care which means we currently have two vacancies.

We have had a very good Inspection Report from the Care Commission and are particularly pleased with the comments by the Lead Care Commission Officer who said that the House provides an environment in which the privacy and dignity of service users is fully respected and also provides homely accommodation in a peaceful, non-intrusive setting.

I would like to thank the members of the Management Committee, especially our Chairman, Mr Ranald Findlay, for their constant support and Sheena and all her staff at Sandyford Place for their unfailing help. I appreciate it very much.
