We are constantly making appeals for financial donations and support for all our projects.

Our Easter appeal will be to give Senior Citizen's an Easter egg, not a chocolate one, an egg they could have for their breakfast. Please don't rush in to 7 Sandyford Place with eggs but if you like, please donate £2.00 and this will give them 6 boiled eggs, fried or poached and at least that is 6 meals they would be getting.

Poverty among pensioners is much higher than what has been told in the media. We can help to alleviate this poverty by helping those who are not aware of the benefits system to access this very complex area. When successful, this takes that person over the poverty line and they can start to heat and eat.

We have 3 welfare officers and this is their aim to relieve poverty across Glasgow and surrounding areas for older people.

We will try to raise funds to employ another welfare officer and to keep our day centres open to the frail elderly to ensure they are socially included in the community, which keeps them out of hospitals and frees up beds for the sick.
